If we met at a cocktail party, in an elevator or at a friend’s place, I’d introduce myself as Alex. I’d tell you about how I’m a personal wellness coach and public health consultant. At some point I’d probably tell you about my three-legged dog, ask you about your favourite music, or invite you to go for a run/yoga class/coffee.

My background is heavy on the academics, personal discovery and deep-rooted belief that everything can (and will) be better. My work is centered around that, whether it is helping individuals cultivate paths to live their dreams, or crafting programming to lead population-based health changes.

My life is heavy on having fun, beautiful things and living simply. I die over amazing music remixes, usually while planning my next run or dreaming up a future home. I believe in a few central things to guide my life:

  • everyone is doing the best they can
  • it’s all okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.
  • maitri: unconditional friendliness towards self which radiates out to others
  • authenticity

And that’s how I love my life. Want to go to yoga?
